My roommate has a scalp massage thingy, like this thing. It feels sooooo good and I can almost feel my hair growing when I borrow it.

She emailed me pictures this morning and I was like OMG, it's huge!!!!! She told me that, based on all the pictures i've sent her, this is the right size and piece. I guess because she is encouraging me to keep wearing my hair up, and so she designed a piece that should carry me all the way to waist and beyond. Omg I feel so intimidated right now. I'll definitely need some help with advice when this piece arrives, please... I'll probably end up experimenting with different kinds of french twists, and peacock styles to make this piece work for my current length! I don't think i'll be able to do a bun with this piece, but styled more like ravenheather. Here is the preview she sent, along with action shots for my first ever Grahtoestudio hair fork:
    That's a really beautiful design!
I want to finally get back to Classic. Growing again starting March 2018.

    Here ya go, rowie!

It's not a very good shot, but hey, it's the back of my head we're talking about!

I still struggle with French braids, but that's mostly because my layers start falling out and the whole thing falls apart and I just give up I'm really looking forward to being able to do a proper fishtail braid. A hairstyle day sounds like fun! I can't think of any alliterative names for one, where's Sillage?

Bunnysaur you did an amazing job! I'm soo happy that we are now making some progress and we have toys to prove it. I just love this thread. BTW I LOVE your hair color! I agree with all your points with braiding. Don't let layers get to you, remember the good old trick of using bobby pins to hide them!

I love your hair sticks by the way.
Thanks Roscata for doing this! You are such a resourceful friend on here! I'm glad that you stop by this thread to check us out once in a while! Are you still on the Neeli oil routine?

Thanks XcaliburGirl! I'm still new to hair toys, and I'm learning so much about what all you "LHCers" love when it comes to toys. I think next time I'll try Ficcares. Also it's nice to meet a fellow wavy/wurly! Yay Are you into any toys as of this moment?

Unfortunately, I'm stuck in between chin and shoulder right now, so the best I can do is a claw clip. I can't wait to use my Flexi-8s and hair sticks again.

When my hair was longer than waist, I used hair sticks exclusively, because I wasn't aware of any other way to keep my hair up. That was pre-LHC, so they were all plastic sticks from Claire's. I'm definitely going to get a nice wooden fork as soon as I can actually use one.

OOh I love the claw clip! The moment I could tie my hair was the moment I bought one.

Yes I've heard of the Flexi's! You'll get there in no time! I can't wait to see you share your styles and toys later on. I hope you can join us tomorrow for the towel test! Yay
