I just did some calculations and discovered that my average growth speed for the last 31 months (since I started growing) is 0,48 inches per month, but the average for last 4 months is 0,59.

Thing I love about long hair: you can roll it in a bun and stick an point object nearby (pencils and pens) to secure it. Easy.

I just realised today that my hair never seems to behave the same way from one day to the next. If I expect it to look the same today as it did yesterday, then I'm certain to be disappointed - or pleased, lol.

for the first time in 10 years I'm considering a coney leave in/serum kind of thing.
I want to wear my hair loose on New Year to show off my dip dye.
I'm afraid that it will build up and hurt my hair, I'm afraid that my wurlies which are very shy are going to go into hiding and that I won't have the effect I want and ...
I can't really remember why I stopped using them, I did have shorter hair I think. And when my hair was longer (like bsl) I didn't know how to care for it. I remember it being very knotty, dry and difficult to handle. I blamed it on the cones but in after sight it was just that I didn't know how to care for my hair. Still might be the cones though? eurgh !

Kyaatje, I say go for it. A little tiny bit of silicone in your hair, just once will not destroy it forever, and is hardly enough to give you serious build-up (which you can always get rid of, anyway). I don't think cone products are The Miracle, but trying one out isn't The Disaster, either.

Thought that keeps running in circles around my head whenever I touch my hair: Can't seem to replicate that amazing softness I had the first time I tried the DC I'm currently using. Irritating.

Well I needed to be in the shop for groceries and I've stood in the haircare section for I think half an hour and decided to buy a serum anyway.
Will try it out next time I wash

I wonder if the witch hazel water I sprayed on my scalp will help concur the oilies. I normally wash Thursdays but want to postpone till Sunday to have freshly washed hair when we go out on New Year
