How often to Brush?

Hah ...

I just realized that the past month I have never brushed, and I hardly ever use a comb either.

My hair is now BSL (bit longer than my avatar), and it's just so easy to care for. I drag my fingers through it now and then, so it doesn't get tangled but that is.

I love this stage ... if it needs more maintenance when it grows longer I might even cut it back to where it is right now.

I'm another that never brushes, but I comb with a wide-toothed horn comb. I usually do it only once a day in the morning. I try not to touch it again, but if I wear my hair down or in a pony, I usually need to comb it again in the evening in order to braid it for the night.

It really depends how I wear my hair that day - most of the time i put it up when its wet (so no brushing there) and it stays that way til I go to bed! On days I don't wash I'll wear it down so I'll brush it a few times during the day. Always with a boar brush

I voted as often as I can!!!
My hair tangles a lot if I wear it down, so brushing is essential, otherwise they become a mess!
On the other hand, when I wear an updo or a braid, I brush it in the morning and before going to sleep, while switching from and do to another (that' the reason why I guess my hair doens't love very much being totally down!)

Never - I only have a plastic brush, and I will not torture my hair with that again.

Also, my hair is not very long yet, and I can get away with combing it twice a week or so (and fingercombing once in a while).

I said twice, and by "brush" I usually mean Tangle Teezer, or perhaps a comb. Morning and night, when hair goes up and comes down.

If I've got a braid, it might get re-done to reduce the fuzzies. Sometimes that's brushed/combed out, but usually a quick fingercombing suffices.

um it depends.. if my hair is down then the answer is about 12 times a day.. its the only way to keep the wind from making it matte.. but on a regular day just once for putting it in a bun..

Once in the morning while dressing my hair, sometimes up to three times if it has fallen down a couple of times and re-tangled. When I wear it down and have left the house, I brush it five-10 times, because it tangles so easily (I don't do this often, like maybe once-tice a school quarter... and now I'm so paranoid about lice that I probably won't do it again for the rest of the year.)
