Trimmers Measure-In

Well, I'm a bimonthly trimmer, but I cut 5 inches off my hair on May 1st, so I'll start from there.

2008

May 1st--22 inches
June 1st 22 7/8 inches--7/8 inches of growth
July 1st 23 1/2 inches--5/8 inches of growth--trim to come in a week or two
August 1st 23 1/2 inches after 1/2 inch trim--1/2 inch of growth

April 21, 2008 (after the 9" damage chop): 17"
April 27, 2008: 17 1/2"
June 1, 2008: 18 1/8"

I last trimmed 1cm in May 1 or 2.
Now it is a month later i plan to trim by the moon and i think i decided to trim 1cm on the 19th. I think i am going to cut a layer in too only to get rid of the parts i highlighted 3 years ago. (they are the bits that cause tangles and don't feel smooth) I think that will help me hate my hair less.
My plan is to trim 1cm a month-probably till next year, but i am trying hard to be more firm and believe i don't need an APL or bob chop!

Big trim in March (by my husband, included a big hole in the shirt-I loved that shirt too) 28"

trimmed 1" measured at 26 5/8". it feels and looks so much better. really noticing how my ends are starting to lose the dry tangling feeling when I wear it straight. soon I will go back to 1/2" trims.

- 1st of May: 37,8” (+ 0,4")
- 29th of May: 37,8” (+ 0,4") (trimmed off growth)
- 29th of June: 37,5 - 37,8" (+ 0,78") (trimmed off growth)

I've never measured my hair before, so this will be a starting point for me.
I trim every third month or so.

The monistat helped? I heard of that & wondered if it would work on my hair. . .
