Nothing exciting today, just a plain old double wrapped Nautilus bun held with a 60th St. fork.

Yesterday I wore a fancy updo out to lunch with DH and while we were eating he told me that our waitress kept staring at my hair. I wonder what she was thinking, as she didn't say anything. This is how I wore it:

Very pretty! Love the colour and shine.

A disc bun for me today. Initially with a stick, but I've taken the stick out to release tension, and will braid or bun differently once it drops out of the bun.

What a lovely nautilus bun means to you, Sarahlabyrinth, is a lovely LWB to me.
I think nautilus bun and LWB are always a fantastic choice. For me, they are both classics and fitting in every situation. As I like to say : “ A nice​ bun makes the day.“

Okay, I can see that I am really going to have to learn how to do a Nautilus Bun or I will be left behind!

Learning a new bun is always a funny undertaking, shayna, but I forget pretty soon how I have to create a complicated bun, because I do not do them enough. Well, it is how it is.
By the way, I do not think someone can ever be „left behind“ in the world of bunˋs, no really not, because everyone has favorite bun‘s and is wearing exactly those. That is truly very good.
As I said, no one is „left behind“ .At least from my point of view.

A bubble braid again today. I felt like my hair turned out well the last time I did one, so I'm starting the week off with this style to see how long it lasts.

On zigzag side parting. It gives large forehead such nice shape
