An inverted bun I learned from Lapis_luzi
A braided LWB held by a bobby pin and a chopstick. I should have moved onto other new styles to learn by now, but I´m still playing with variations on the "classics".

Pretty, Whirly Girly, I like how you made them parallel so neatly
Today I´m wearing (or trying to wear) a double wrapped nautilus bun. I looked up a lovely tutorial by SarahlabyrinthLHC and I discovered I don´t have enough hair for this!So on second attempt I went with using three fingers and it holds, but only just

If that is your "fast" bun, Whirly Girly, hats off to you. And those sticks areGorgeous.
I wish I could do a fast bun like you, because for instance yesterday morning I found myself in a survival mode and starring at the mirror in the bathroom I came to realize that I could not remember how to do any other bun than nautilus (thank God for that one).

Awww, thanks Nefcerka doll. I think it just comes from years of practice, being able to whip my hair up quickly and have it still pass for half decent. Practice and you will master more than just the nautilus….but yes, thank God for good old reliables that we can count on when in a hurry.![]()
I’m feeling so good about my hair right now because I trimmed off 3/4 inch yesterday! The ends are all bouncy again…and not dry. I should be wearing it down but it needs a good scrubbing. Lol.
Today is just another fast french twisty type up-do, but I’m loving this new huge 8” hair fork I got recently. Amazing how easy it is to use. This do will work well for errand-running and then chores later today. Up at the crack of dawn again when I should still be in bed.![]()

Very nice, Whirly Girly!
I´ve tried placing the cinnabun on the top of my head for the first time, I like it there. If only my hair didn´t keep spitting the bobby pins out. Does anyone have a tip for how to secure a cinnabun with a hairstick on slippery hair? I tried it with braided cinnabun, which is more secure on me, but failed miserably. I guess I´ll have to practice.
Oh! What bun is it *curious*?
I ordered the one you mentioned *smilies* I wondered why the one I had felt so …oily? Sticky? I didn’t even know I had to look that up! I hope to try it this weekend…thank you again! Oh, and that swirly braid, seashell bun loking bun witht he sparkly in the center is really cool…and a Coconut picture!
Today I am in an Amazing Hairstyle. It looks okay on me…kind of lumpy and crooked but this is only my second try. The lady in the video makes it look like magic! I'm wearing it with an eight prong metal fork…which holds like a rock. Though, to be honest, this bun seems to hold even without a hair toy (very strange for me). Anyway. I really like it (but it still looks wonky…oh, just need more practice, I suppose). I took the fork out to count the prongs and the bun feels slightly wobbly but hasn't come undone. Interesting…
