I just bought a wig. I hate the way I look in up dos (funny ears) so I'll just tuck it carefully under that when I want to wear it out.
It's beautiful and I love it.

I tried a wash and go and though I can now actually define my curls, my hair shape is super weird. I put in rope braids instead, I'll try to leave them in until Sunday.

Well this afternoon SO was listening to some tunes and this Neil Young track came on:

“Somewhere on a desert highway
She rides a Harley-Davidson
Her long blonde hair
flyin' in the wind”

....well I bet she had a helluva tangle to deal with when she got home

I wonder if I should just grow out my bangs. Get them a tad lighter so they aren't too blunt as they grow longer. I do love them so much but I'm just so lazy with the regular trims and look ridiculous once they grow out a bit.

What about curtain bangs? They would be easier to go longer between trims as they are more feathered and sweep to the side, and easier to grow out if/when you decide to.

I made a coconut oil hair mask yesterday and it was a success. Usually I have difficulties to wash it off. Hair feels good.
