This looks amazing! I love the flair of pink in the front. I'm wondering if having a small portion in the front that you get to change and experiment with could help with your need to have something to fiddle with. I know for me, having bangs that I get to trim and style has helped me top messing with the rest of my hair. But either way, this is a great look

Me me me. I go through this all the time. Masc clothes can feel so restrictive. Finding the balance and finding gender euphoria can be so tricky. You're def not alone in that!

gave myself what i thought was a much-needed trim this afternoon... i only cut about half an inch off, but it feels so much shorter

i also don't feel like it really looks any thicker. oh well, guess i know now that my hair doesn't necessarily need to be trimmed frequently! it had been six months between trims this time; i may try for 9 months before considering trimming again

(please ignore my dirty mirror!)

and ETJ CURLS, i must credit you with my hair's progress—i don't know if you remember, but i created a thread about my clumpy hair woes a while back. you suggested sleeping in braids, and it has helped me so much! definitely took my hair to the next level, and i have been loving it rather than hating it lately
