LOL I didn't even notice that - I certainly am not a guy, and the friend who sprang immediately to mind is also most definitely not, nor ever will be a husband (she is a wife)

This week I learned, no matter what, do NOT wash hair if it will not have a full day or two to dry. The tangles I get from styling wet hair for work and the dryness from gel to get it presentable, plus wrestling it into a donut.... I'm scared to even think about how many more fairy knots I have just from being in a hurry.

I recently was shopping for and interviewing hair dressers and one them claimed I have a silicone buildup.

This particular hairdresser then tried to sell me a conditioner product and it got dimethicone on it as one of the first ingredients - one of the worst if buildup is the concern.

Nonetheless, jury is still out.

Current oil experiment: Stratia Fortify. It isn’t actually marketed for hair, but I like it on my face a lot and it’s on hand Plus it’s got a nutty scent I dig.

Is anybody else suffering through MBL/BSL? It feels like my hair is damaged by everything. Chairs, tough pillowcases, even gentle combing? had to rant, sorry.

I cant stand sleeping on my hair.

Hair being down in a natural way is okay.

But skin.. pressing up against my hair or wrapped around my neck, or touching my face....is NOT okay.
I think it can actually make marks!

I sleep with it loose. And when I do, which is always....I automatically just fling it to one side or the other.

It's become instinctive lol.

Try spraying a film of 50:50 water/fabric softener on the plastic which prevents any static energy building up. Thats how dryer sheets work
