Dyed my hair again last night by myself and it seems to have gone well! DBF assured me I had got all the regrowth in the back.
Deep conditioned afterwards and used a lot of leave-in and air-dried, and I don't think it's feeling any different.
The hair dye experiment continues. If my hair can't handle it over the next few months I'll give up dye again... I'm hoping my hair can handle it though! My trim next month may be the deciding factor...
Next goal: 34" - Hip
Today I finally got it. The dreaded question. "Why aren't you dyeing your hair? You've got visible graying!".
I don't even have that much graying, my natural color sometimes reflects metallic/white hues under certain lights. Plus I was asked it by my less than tactful and overly dramatic coworker, so I don't even pay that mych attention to her words. But still. Made me think about things.

I had a weird dream, not hair related at all but I had ankle lenght hair in the dream, I had to carry my hair in my hands because it was so long and heavy. I remember thinking how annoying it is but thought "well at least it's long"
Let it grow, let it grow, don't cut or fry it anymore,
Let it grow, let it grow, turn away from silicones
...clogged drains never bothered me anyway.
I feel like more and more shampoos (and conditioners) use methyl(chloro)isothiazolinone as preservative. I hate it. It gives me a rash with prolonged skin contact, and I'd rather just avoid any and all skin contact with it. Bring back the parabens, please.

Decided to start braiding my hair for sleep for a few months and see if it makes a difference.

"When it rains, everything grows..."
Yeah, that's pretty much what I answered. That it's my choice and gray hair isn't bad, it's just society's prejudice that makes it look bad.
The funny thing is that I don't even have gray hair I made Mom look through my hair under good lighting and I have like 5-6 gray strands scattered throughout my crown. It's just my natural color giving off gray-ish hues under crappy office lighting. Which makes this question even more ridiculous. I like gray hair and I'm excited to go gray naturally, but still I don't have it yet.
This coworker who asked me this asks everyone awkward questions all the time, it's just who she is, she always speaks her mind regardless of how others feel it's more funny than offensive tbh. Plus if I intend to never dye my hair I need to learn to not pay attention to such comments, cause they'll only get worse.
