Is Hermione wearing a hairstick?

I've been wearing my hair in a simple side braid everyday ever since I could do one and have never experienced any damage from doing so. I start bunning and I find L-shaped bent hairs. This is something I've noticed before but I keep giving buns the benefit of the doubt. It seems that for me buns = bent hairs. I going to just stick with braids for as long as they work for me and reassessing in the future if I need to.

I used to enjoy watching beautyklove videos but I'm starting to get a little annoyed and suspicious of all these "this treatment will make your hair grow" videos. She literally has dozens of videos of different homemade treatments she uses that magically makes her hair perfect.

Indeed. In one hair growth hack video I think she claimed her hair grew several inches overnight.

I used to like her videos too, but haven't watched any for over a year now, since I grew tired of ht "miracle hair growth treatments" and all of the "hair growth challenges".

I brushed my hair with a detangling brush for the first time in probably a year or so... It felt so weird how fluffy my hair became. I put it up of course.

Does anyone ever have days where they can't stop thinking about their hair? Today was one of those, for me. I feel so silly to actually say so! Every time I walked past a mirror in my house I had to examine it. Yet, yesterday I barely gave it a thought.
Perhaps this happened because I dreamt I had my hair cut off to shoulder length with lots of chunky, awful layers in it (serves me right for watching hair disaster vids before bed)!

I watched an Apollo 17 documentary. Men's hair styles were still short but no longer trying to emulate bald men as the Apollo 11 documentary. The change was quite apparent over the three year period (1969 to 1972).
