I don't think I've tried that one but my hair is pretty slippy too.
Day 5. E is for Elling Woman bun, forever and always.
I don't think I will be able to do this right now but i can try. My hair is too silky and thin. Won't hold anything until it's alittle dirty and frizzy so going to have to wait as I just washed and oiled it up like crazy lol

Mod hat off. Mod hat on. Don't make me wear the mod hat, it messes up my hair. *grin*
Thanks prairie!

Looks great, neko!
B is for: battlebraid
I was going to skip today. Bweeta's buns, Bunny bun, bee butt bun; was all I could think of and none suited. Had something in my brain: a ponytail with the tail made into 3 braids. I french braided the sides on a whim, and it morphed into this! 2018-05-02_08-34-13 by Mom and wife, on Flickr
I totally made a battlebraid on accident! (I know it isn't intricate and super battlebraidey, but it feels "tough girl", so I'm going with it! Also, has a ponytail base, so this thing will hold!)
henna keeps it red, and red makes me happy.

That. Is. AWESOME browneyedsusan.
Definitely a "tough girl" kinda look.
F is for French braid. This was an easy one for me. Here's a picture from three hours ago before The Great Shred began.
That is a beautiful French braid. Never could get the sides to be smooth.

@AmaryllisRed: Thanks!
Your french braid is sooo pretty! (Those don't hold for me either! The sides sag before I even get the thing done! It's all good though. Plenty of styles work out just fine. )
@Neko_ kawaii: The pin curled tails are brilliant, and look fantastic! I jammed my ends in, and think that disrupted the bun stability powers.
