At what length did you decide that you had long hair?

I think hip length is when it seems long to me. I didn't get comments on it until I got to bcl

For me, my hair seemed long to me at armpit length but now this year it has grown a little beyond that now.

It feels long to me in my real life. . . but when I come here, it doesn't seem long anymore.

Ding-Ding-Ding! That's exactly what I was thinking. I actually thought I had long hair when it was a bit past shoulder length (maybe a little less than a year into my hair journey) but now that I'm past MBL, I feel like it's not all that long. It even just feels "normal" now that I'm used to it (and I have my hair down most of the time). I think when my hair gets past waist length (probably later this year), I'll allow myself to think that my hair is long.

My hair is exactly 1 meter (100cm) long currently, and I don’t even think it’s a decent length.
I’d probably consider it "really" long when I hit my knee with a very thick hemline.

I don't usually feel like mine is very long yet, it's just a whisper past BSL. But then my mom or a specific older friend of mine will make a comment about how long my hair is, and then I feel it.

The first time I heard it from these two, my thought was "I've made it!"

It keeps increasing the longer my hair gets

When my hair first hit waist, that felt like my "finally feeling long" length. Then, as I lingered around waist for a while, it stopped, and now solid hip is that length for me. I'm sure once I've gotten used to solid hip, it will move again.

before LHC: waist. After LHC: Knee and beyond. I cut back to tailbone something and it feels soooo short. I blame LHC for that lol

For me it's Tailbone length. I've cut my hair real short a few times and is currently growing out from a Chin length bob-thing since 2018, now I'm already past Tailbone and honestly my hair didn't feel long to me until I reached that length.

I've had what people consider "long hair" for most of my life (minus the few times I cut it short) but I personally never felt that it was until it's that length. I think it's because before I reached it, I didn't have to watch for my hair when I'm sitting down, so I didn't feel like it was "long" to me till then.
