I think LHC is like that but for my hair! When I get an impatient 'I want my hair to grow longer now' feeling - I come on here sort of half expecting there will be a thread that says read this and your hair will magically be 10 inches longer - but there never is one. Then Ill get on with some work and check again - nope still not magically longer.

Patience is key!

There is lots of good threads & usually something that will help distract me & take away the impatient feeling for a bit - but never one that magically adds inches just by reading it!

What I do when I feel like this is to look at a photo of my hair that I like and say to myself "My hair is longer than this now." and then I feel better about it.

Just confirming that if my hair feels just fine, I don't need to clarify, right? Even if I have gone long without doing so and using ingredients that do build up?

If your hair feels fine and is happy you probably don't need to. I clarify once a month, anyway. Just keep an eye on it, and it does depend, too, what products you put on your hair.

I'm thinking about what tangle teezer (or other brush/comb) to get.
My hair is fine, quite straight and not very thick. I've noticed my hair has started to get knots, probably because of it's length because I've never had it before.

Also, this is the first time I'm writing something in this forum. I've been a loooong time lurker.
