Need signature help? This is the thread for you!

I did but it didn't work. I could see it uploaded, but not next to the text.

I don't understand what you mean. Not next to the text in your signature?

I use Photoshop, how does it work on photoshop?

I've never used Photoshop; sorry.

So I've gone through this thread, and sucessfully uploaded a picture that meet the requirements (finally...) but it's not showing up! Grr...any help?

Did you click "Insert Signature Picture" after you uploaded it?

Sorry, I was trying to explain something and didn't know how to. Well the picture isn't visible in the text box (where you edit your text) but it looked like it was uploaded underneath the text box. (again this is not a good explanation...)

Click on "Upload," and you should be taken to a new page where your signature picture appears. To the right of that will be a line that reads. "Insert Picture."

No it never seems to take me there . I tried all new- deleted my picture and uploaded it new, I can see it but still not insert it even if I push upload a couple of times..just does not take me further

Oh, OK. To the right of the picture underneath the text box, is there a line that looks like this?
Insert Signature Picture.

If there is, click on it, and the software will insert the picture.

Now here is where things will look a little different than before. When it's inserted, you will only see the following in the box where you edit your signature:
[SIGPIC ] [/SIGPIC ]
There won't be any URL between those tags, so it will *look* like there's no picture there. Don't worry, though, the computer knows what picture goes with those tags. (No, you can't do this manually, BTW).

I'm trying to get my signature to work. I uploaded the photo from photobucket, and it's the proper size and everything....... I only have a photo and my name, so there aren't too many lines. Everything looks perfect in the preview, but when I save it, it still doesn't show up in my posts. Why?

Emi, I just want to check again. When you go to "Edit Signature," it doesn't look like this? (without the red and my pic, of course )

Flaxen, for some people there is no "Insert Signature Picture" link on that page at all -it was like that for me. I had to go in and change some settings, namely: go into "Edit Options" in the User Control Panel, and at the very bottom under "Miscellaneous Options" change the Message Editor Interface from the default option of "Basic Editor - A simple text box" to either of the other options listed. Then the link will show up.
