hmm some of the hairstyles in the pics in this thread look a little weird , but i actually like the idea of these , to create 60's style hair-do's
the way i see it, it is the same idea as putting a sock inside your bun, just a different shaped form

I considered making my own using either a hair rat (if I ever get a round to making one) or a foamy curler cut in half.

They had black foamys at a store near me but I thought I'd try it first with the blue and pink ones I have at home in case it didn't work... then there wouldn't be an expense.

I would use these when my hair gets longer. anything that takes away the necessity to tease is fine by me.
