I don't know why but it seems easier to stand and detangle. I've tried it sitting in bed and it does not feel fully detangled.

I begin detangling in the shower and do the final detangling seated, so that makes both standing and seated. I'm between APL and BSL length.
My hair is **just** at BSL and I do it standing up. But my hair doesn't tangle very much, and it doesn't take me very long to detangle, maybe a minute if that. And I only have to use my fingers, very carefully.

I'm shorter than bsl and usually sit down when I detangle just because I like to take my time with it. If I'm just heading out the door though I'll definitely detangle standing, it just depends on the circumstances I guess
TB to mid-thigh, and I detangle standing up, after washing, at the sink. After applying a nice amount of leave-in.
I have been considering cutting up to waist lately :O It is currently just above TB, b/c I keep trimming it...

I usually detangle standing up, but it's not uncommon for me to detangle sitting down. I just do whatever's convenient really, it just so happens that standing is usually more convenient in my usual day-to-day routine.
