Re: Henna over bleached/blonde hair?
Is it crazy talk to even consider getting bleached blonde highlights on top of henna-ed hair? My natural color (but I am aging fast, lol
) is dark strawberry blonde. I am considering perking it up with henna, but truly love my blonde highlights - which I know I cannot achieve with henna.
Crazy thoughts? thanks!

Re: Henna over bleached/blonde hair?
I henna'd my hair over VERY damaged hair. It'd been bleached at least 8 times within' 8 months. It was orange at first, but after a few applications it has gotten a lot darker and a nice, rich, burgandy color. You can henna twice a week to get the color you want. I henna'd once a week until I got the color I wanted.

You just have to prepare to be happy with whatever happens because henna is unpredictable and VERY VERY PERMANENT! Like growing out permanent.
However I think more applications would be a good idea if you want a daker red, but it will always flare orange in sunlight no matter how dark you go.
