Gotta second spin pins. They changed my llife and I love them just a little less than my cats.

Waist-length, and (grudgingly) rocking the fairytale ends. Hoping for hip by the end of 2019 with at least a semi-decent hemline. Ultimate goal of TBL...or longer.

I LOVE all of these ideas!!!

I use spin pins and wood hair forks almost exclusively. But these don't work for braids.

Anyone had experience with strips of tee shirt fabric as ties?

I have sewn with teeshirt fabric, and I think that it isn't stretchy enough. You can get hairties made of foldover elastic, or of ribbing. You can use pieces of stocking or of stretchy lycra (like for leotards).

Braided nautilus works fantastic with a hairfork for me!

Hair bobbles - you know the elastics with 2 balls that you wrap around your hair rather than pull your hair through. I find the pulling hair through it what breaks my hair.
