What a fun idea! A while back there was the Up-do Challenge (over here), where the idea was to go 60 days without repeating a hairstyle. I didn't finish the challenge, but I did make a complete list, and so did a couple other people. It might be a good thread to look at if you start to run out of ideas. Here's my list.

"I met a lady in the meads / full beautiful, a faery's child / her hair was long, her foot was light / And her eyes were wild."

Thanks for the links, eternallyverdan! I knew I had seen something similar, but when I searched for it I couldn't find it at all.

If I start running short on ideas, I might just have to take a look at that list as well...

Day three: Dutch combo with a barrette at the "fork" of the braids. The barrette is black with brown and blue flowers painted over, it's very conservative and pretty.

I don't know if I can make sixty days! dang! A worthy hair-ambition, however.

Sixty also seem a lot to me, but who knows...

Day 4: Inside-out bun. It looks so elegant (when I manage to do it), I must remember it for the next formal event I go to!

    Great idea! I'm in, too
Going to start with a simple inside out bun today, because that (or my sleep braid ) was my "stuck in a rut"-style for the last weeks I really need to become more creative again.

( I think I remember a similar challenge, but that was really long ago - like 2008 maybe, but I guess after such a long time we don't need to dig up that one to revive it. Starting a fresh challenge for 2011 with a new thread is fine )
