oh i so wanted that lark custom listing! good call, rushli! ...i actually bought a moon last week. a 3" one, which is a bit on the small side, but i think i prefer them to be small!

see, my new rule is that i'm not allowed to buy any hair toys with our money-- only money/gift cards given as gifts for birthdays, holidays, etc. just to keep the spending at bay. anyway, i used birthday money for the moon, so it was acceptable, but i was out of funds pretty quickly bc i also got a custom grahtoe :-D so when the lark custom listings came up i was kicking myself.

my sister just sent me a gift card yesterday as a very belated b-day present, so it's burning a hole in my pocket, lol.

now, let's be real here. i could always use the gift card on holiday gifts, and spend actual $50 on whatever i want. ...so let's abolish the the-shop-hasta-accept-gift-cards rule, and try again---

if you had $50 to spend on hair toys, what would you buy!

GTS down payment or a ficcare
ISO: Medium or Small leopard, border, or silky Logo ficcare

I stand by my original answer

Hm... a Nightblooming ficcare mod would knock an item off my wish list...

In that case, I would make a list of the top 3-5 things you want (60th custom, gothic elymwold, custom Lark...) and keep an eye out for them. Buy the first thing that comes up!

OK, take a look at sourgrl's signature pic. I'd buy THAT. (What's that? Someone is saying something to me... Oh. I see. That one is already sold, so I CAN NOT buy that.) Ahem. Well, OK then. I would buy ANOTHER Elymwold that looked SIMILAR to the one sourgrl has in her sig pic. How's that?

OH! Since I can't buy the one sourgrl has, here is something else from another seller entirely, that I would get if someone gave me $50.00. No, it would not pay for the whole thing, less than half actually, but I can not afford this fork right now and I would dearly love it if one of you were able to buy and wear it and show me pictures of it in your hair: Bat fork. Here is what is funny, bats are not my thing and neither is the color red but I think this is an amazing piece of work. Plus it looks incredibly well designed and like it would work PERFECTLY as a hair fork! So go out there, somebody, and BUY it!!

I agree Amapola, Sourgrls' Elymwold fork is the ONE thing I actually want from that maker. I don't haunt his shop at all, and he posts new things when I'm sleeping, but if all the stars aligned and I saw one in he shop, I'd buy it.

I'm kind of with you guys on Sourgrl's Elymwold fork. That thing is the bomb.

Either that or something big and olive woody from Schnitzstube.

Have to admit, Islandgrrl's got something there on the Schnitzstube. I've got one of the olive wood forks and they are simply fantastic. Hold my hair perfectly all day long.

Also glad to know I"m not the only one with a "thing" for sourgrl's Elymwold. That is a seriously gorgeous piece of work.
