Satin sleep bonnet always!
I have one satin pillow case (very comparable to silk in smoothness and was way cheaper) plus two bamboo pillow cases that are very soft too.

Satin sleep bonnet always!
I bought some smooth silk from a fabric shop and sleep on that with my hair in a single plait.
Finally finished growing out natural colour!
I have a satin cap but I plan to look through some satin/silk pillowcases as an alternative.
I sleep on satin pillow case that I did myself. It is very easy and cheaper. And it does work. I also do a high bun before sleeping.

Sleep bonnet for me,too.
I keep it in a Nautilus bun with a scrunchie and I sleep on a satin pillowcase
Well I don't have [volume on the] crown because I'm not a queen.
Since my hair is plaited (braided) up for the week I keep it nice by wrapping it in a satin scarf and popping a bonnet over the top. The bonnet helps keep the scarf on, I have a tendency to remove the scarf in my sleep.

I'm going to third or fourth the satin bonnet/cap. I think it's great for all lengths, but especially for those with very short hair - that don't really have the 'braid or bun' option.

By staying indoors...and sitting upright...and sleeping an estimated 20/80 % of my life.
