I think I tend to think of my hair as somewhere between TBL and CL because that's where it hits when braided. In reality it's somewhere between CL and FTL.

I still think of my hair as top of my hip bones even though it's past tailbone. I think it's just because I don't ever see my length from third person view (pictures, in the mirror) so it's hard to visualize my hair length. I guess I need to take more pictures of my hair.

Currently I have had it at hip enough times in the last year that that is what I think of it as, despite the fact it had been trimmed like three times, and isn't quite back to hip for its third time. But in general, I have thought of my hair as shorter than it really is

    That's a good question.
I guess I estimate the length of my hair where it is at the moment.

I’m just touching hip length, but still think of it as between shoulder and APL length. I don’t know if my brain will ever register it at actual length

It's at BCL but in my mind it's at waist.

I thought my hair was mid-butt length lol, I didn't realize that it hit classic until I pulled it down to see what length it would be straight

This is an interesting question and seems the consensus is that it is more common for it to feel shorter than it really is...maybe the bulk hasn't traveled down or the mind hasn't caught up with the growth? I think of mine as BSL but it's really about an inch away from waist. I feel most how long it really is in the shower when it's wet.
