I'm so close to my goal! It almost makes the wait worse! But if I go past classic I doubt I'd update my goal length. I've thought about venturing into FTL or something, but it would be very tentative and based on curiosity. And probably I'd trim a lot. Though I guess who knows, I might get to mid-thigh (or whatever other point) and get bitten by the KL bug. You never know when your LHC-itis is going to become... terminal... (See what I did there?

My roomie: My hair is breaking really bad.
Me: Well if you'd join LHC you could ask for tips!
Her: Uuuugghhh but I don't waaaannaaa!
Me: There's a WHOLE THREAD just for people who want long hair and colorful hair. I bet they've got great tips for keeping your hair healthy.
Her: ... OK FINE SEND ME THE LINK GEEZ.

I was wearing a wooden hair stick to work today (just a stick I picked up out of my yard, perfectly smooth and a little bent in the middle, works great to hold my braided bun in my ball cap) and my boss looks at the back of my head and says, "why have you got a baboon rib in your hair?" I fell out laughing. He's so random! A BABOON RIB. So I came home and wrote 'baboon rib' on the part of the stick you can see outside my bun. 😂😂

DH and I went to a restaurant for lunch and after eating we were waiting at the counter to pay for the meal.

DH - The waitress is behind you.

She was standing behind me holding my hair in her hands, I hadn't felt her take it.

Waitress - Wow, is this really all your own hair?
Me - Yes

Waitress - Don't you get lots of tangles?
Me - No, I usually wear it contained all the time.
Waitress - Don't you have to spend ages brushing it?
Me - No, its very easy to look after.
Waitress - I just cut mine off because it always tangles. (Calls other waitress over to look at my hair) How do you sleep with all that hair?
Me - I wear it inside a cap and it doesn't catch or tangle.
CUSTOMER AT A TABLE ACROSS THE ROOM - Is it hard to look after?
Me - No, it's very easy.
CUSTOMER - Is it very heavy?
Me - No, not at all and I'm used to it.
Waitress - Your hair should be in the record book.

There I was standing there wondering if the whole restaurant was staring at me...
