This was a couple weeks ago not long after id gotten from vaca. I stopped in at the donut shop i moonlight in on the weekends in the afternoon with my hair down. Only two workers at the time both friends who know me mostly from work, but one is relatively new and neither have seen it down.

Friend 1 (male in overly dramatic inflection): (myname placeholder)'s Here!! ... ... omg...... .... (rushes to counter)
Friend 2 (female in perfectly normal conversational voice): At first i ddn't recognize you.... you should wear it down more often. What can i get for you?
Friend 1: I had no idea it was that long... I saw you was like... who is this majestic beast... you getting coffee?

I nearly died laughing. bear in mind the place was empty save the three of us.

Hubby and I are on a date tonight.

I said "I can't believe that you are not wearing a cap." He joked "I thought I would wear it down without a cap so you would think I was hot."
Bwahahaha! Yes! He let me take care of the leave ins before we left "so it won't frizz." So cute!

Me, *sitting at the table at the club*
To husband: "so...what are your thoughts on your goal length?"

Him: "On 'BOWLING?"

Me: "Nooooooo. Your goal length."

Him: "My thoughts? On my goal length?"

Me: "yessssss."

Him: "I guess I could just grow until..."
*hand gesture, kind of like 'that's it'*

"...there..."

Me: "Or you could just grow to terminal."

Him: "I don't know what that means. Like until I'm dead? " *rolls eyes and sticks out tongue*. "Akkkkkkk!"

Me: *gives up and jams out to music at club*
