I've been looking at some of the blue-toned flexis and oh my goodness they are too gorgeous! I love this one (both in silver and blue tone :P)

Usually I'm not too much into animal centerpieces, but this insect is really well done - not too naturalistic, and very elegant and stylish.

My Sport broke today as I was doing my hair! There's a little plastic piece at both ends of the 8 where the plastic clip rests. It broke and revealed the metal insides...and it was rusty. Apparently, they're NOT? waterproof? So disappointed. It worked very well with my slippery hair and also under the swim cap because it wasn't sharp.

ETA: Problem solved! The metal was so rusty I broke it with my hands and pulled off the clip part. Now I can use it as a hair stick as is or with a spiral hair tie (or other type of elastic or scrunchy). It's still safe for use under my swim cap too! It's actually even more flexible (versatile) nowI gave it a heavy testing period yesterday. Before settling on this approach, I had thought of making my own "infinity clip".

Love Flexi 8's! I own four of them. Now that my hair is one length and almost shoulder length, I'm using them for my half ups. I will have to check out their new styles!
