Oh Sarah that would have shocked me a bit if someone took hold of my hair. From the tone of your post it reads like you took it ok - were you ok?

My Mum said my hair is lovely. This means the world to me after our (hair and general life) history.

Yes, I was fine. Similar things have happened before and the "grabbers" don't mean any harm, they are just interested in the hair done in a way they probably haven't seen before.

Me ?[/B]...it has been over 2 years since I posted about my last compliment from a lady at the grocery store.

Since growing the past 6+ years I could count on 1 hand the compliments I have received = less than 1/year....NOT good odds here

TBH...at times it does make me wonder if I am deluding myself....then again :....I am doing it for MOI

Christmas Day I had my hair up in a French Twist with a festive pearl/green/red bead African Butterfly Comb.
As I walked past DH he said ..."Your hair is very pretty and Christmassy"

Then later my DD said she ran in to a former waitress from our favorite eating place.
As it turned out, the lady remembered ME by my 'pretty, long, silver, hair'

They both made my day/month/year with real life affirmations that I sorely needed after the year I have had

my mom was braiding my hair for me and she kept remarking on how soft and healthy it is which made me grin ear to ear, "it's like silk!"

My friend with the best hair (hip length, thick, natural redhead) told me today how long mine is getting and that I have "really good hair"

I was bunning a few of my nieces hair on Christmas, they have THICK hair. It was heavy in my hands, it was insane how different mine feels. People tell me I have thick hair and I kind of started to believe it but after handling these horse manes I know, I sho don't, hahaha.

Well I did double infinity buns on one and a seashell bun on another and all the girls oohed and ahhed, saying I Really know how to do hair and that it looks fab. It made me feel really good!

I was shopping in a thrift store the other day and an older lady stopped me and told my that she loved the color of my hair. She was so sweet! It made me so happy.
