I think you guys misunderstood me

I'm not planning to do a big chop.
I am sure that my salt and pepper will go great with my type ( I'm a Winter so cool tones suit me) and I like my silvers very much. I don't think I will look tired, washed out, old or sick.
In the end of the day it's all that matters

So.. brainstorm with Ylva, henna, I'm back to growing to waist

I didn't totally give up silver, though.
The plan is to grow out a streak of silver close to face while continuing to henna the rest of roots.
After some time I'd stop doing henna on next section of hair and grow out grey there.
A bit hard to explain, I will post pictures during the process, basically I will be growing out grey in sections

Well, I measured again today. I'm trying to be a little stingy with my measurements and not count ends that are just a few racers, but measuring instead to a clear point in my hemline.

In 47 days, I seem to have grown 1 and a half inches! That means at the moment I have 43 days to grow 1 and a half inches more in order to win the bet with my boyfriend!! I'm on track, but it will be neck and neck; I can promise he will be measuring down to the millimeter. (And yes, I already asked if I can have a couple extra days since February is a short month. He said no >:/)

A few good days could really make the difference here...this is worse than a sporting event for me! It's possible but it feels down to the wire.

Ooh, you need to start eating everything you ever heard helps hair growth! He sounds like he is taking this seriously. Protein until it is coming out of your ears! Anything, no matter how silly, could help!

If you can manage to down it, Rainbouu, I would really recommend trying drinking yeast. It really works wonders for speeding up hair growth.

I thought you couldn't speed up hair growth. I thought it was defined by genetics. That you could only be patient, avoid damaging your hair and not cut it. Have any of you managed to speed up hair growth with certain foods? I am able to become the biggest fan of that specific food to get waist length in 3 months
