So i guess I belong here! I had waist length pink hair, but when I started my new job I had to have a natural color. I didn't want to go dark so I committed the ultimate hair sin: Bleaching my already bleached hair. My hair has been thru a lot of abuse but it never broke on me no matter what I did to it. The breakage was so bad I got chemically cut layers (and my ends had been healthy and full, even without considering it was bleached WHITE beneath the pink!) So I cut it to jaw length and dyed it a really pretty bluish black. Its been a few months and I'm a little past shoulder now. I'm trying to grow to APL and maintain there till the rest of the layers grow out so I can have my full ends back. I'm so sad guys, I could've gotten to tailbone this the year if i had just dyed it darker instead of trying to strip it :c and the blue black is actually really beautiful. Sorry for the rant I just wish I hadn't been stupid. I have avoided this site out of shame honestly

Things like this happen. Think of it as a new beginning for your hair.

It's been a while since I've been on the forum. Long story short, my "trusted" stylist did what she wanted to my hair when I asked for subtle ombre and gave me all over 90s highlights and badly damaged my hair. It was traumatic and I had to lose a few inches and throw purple over to deal with the bleach damage.

I'm back with a blunt solid shoulder hem and enjoying my roots coming in and the purple (roots and purple are the only good things I got out of the experience). I've trimmed a bit more myself but I'm content to enjoy the hair I have left and spoil it.

Anyone else feel like they're stalled? It's only been a month since I called SL, but progress feels so much slower than when I could see it inching past my chin. This length feels so boring
