I am so with you on this. When I first joined LHC I reached just below shoulder to bsl in about 6 months. I did it with MN and lots of oilings. Since then I reverted to bad habits. I lost all the length through bleach induced breakage, hot irons and getting scissor happy with microtrims. I ended up doing so many micro trims that my hair was skew. Had to cut it back to below shoulder to get it straight.
So now I am back at apl and my goal is bsl by November. 3 months at an inch a month!
I am re starting a routine of CWC, SMT, MN and oilings with Gro Aut and Coconut Oil, also taking hair and biotin supplements and a daily hair affirmation.
What u focus on increases so I am madly focusing on long healthy abundant hair growth. We will get there ladies !!
1st Goal: BSL - By Oct 2010
2nd Goal: Waist Length - By June 2011
Does anyone else have layers that make updos at this length and pita? I've been wearing my hair in a french braid all the time because it's it's one of the few styles that I don't have pieces sticking out all over the place.
I find myself doing the same styles over and over. I am also finding that my hair is getting heavier and only likes to be in certain positions on my head. This makes me nervous for when my hair is longer! It's just barely APL and already heavy in certain styles. I think a lot of my hair must be coming back from my post-partum shed.![]()
I'm currently at APL myself, but I have some awful layers that make the front parts look a bit shorter. Just trying to reach BSL hopefully before I do any major trims to get rid of the layers!
