I prefer to do the maintain way too as my hairs pretty wild, but I've been wanting to do no trims 25 since 2020 so guess I'll be living the mop life for 7 more months but I will do a maintenance trim at the back around November to prepare for it

Well, you got to do what you got to do.
Read in the other thread you weren't happy about the result, and shaving it all off can be a fresh start.

I just know I'm going to probably repeat the same cycle, I've been in this loop for 2-3 years but we will see I suppose! I'm just about to give up

I am still trying to read chin length. I feel like my hair is growing really slowly. I need to up my game with protein, collagen, and scalp stimulation. Any other tips?

For me I have found upping my calories in general can help -- like making sure I'm getting not just enough protein but enough fats and carbs in my body so that all my body's needs are getting met. Same with upping water intake. Also exercising seems to help my hair grow (or maybe it's just that when I exercise I also am hungrier and thirstier, so I eat and drink more). But yeah, in short, making sure my body has everything it needs.

Drinking nettle tea and yeast works for me

Thank you guys for the tips! I'm doing WW because I'm trying to lose 80 pounds, so I know this isn't ideal for hair growth. I am toying with the idea of making olive oil zero points for me, haha. WW is in general a low fat plan (but I have high cholesterol, so that works). Working on upping protein, which has always been hard for me. I need to start taking collagen for real. I have some in the house, I just forget to take it! My hair is definitely a shag now, and gaining length FINALLY, but I have at least 5 months for my front hairs to reach chin, I'm thinking. But I think I'm done with trimming until January 2026.
