I'm very excited. I picked up my Maple Burl order today. Super fast shipping, too. A christmas present I gave myself lol

May I ask what kind of bun you're wearing in the pic with the red fork? Love braided buns, am currently trying to expand the types of styles I know how to do

In both pictures I'm basically wearing the same bun, a braided pinless with a french braid as a base. I just stick the fork trough the scalp part of the braid and then wrap the rest around it. It's funny how different it looks depending on how wide the fork or stick is.

I'm usually too lazy to frenchbraid often, but when I do it always ends up in that bun.

If anyone US-based ever needs to part ways with one of these, please let me know! I will likely purchase one directly soon anyway to support the artist and--let's be honest--because they're too pretty to resist, but I would love to avoid the carbon impact of international shipping if I can.

I read today that a couple of EU countries are planning on closing their air space for russian planes and that some airlines are not flying to russia for the next week at least. I wonder if that has any impact at all on the mail.

I love all of my Maple Burld forks, I also have an emerald one.
