I joined six months ago, and yes, it has grown a bit, maybe three inches. One trim since then, and this group convinced me not to chop it back too far.

I want to join this thread. My plan is not to cut it at least until my hair is past WL so I don't have to go back to BSL.

In the first photo I wear it wavy and you can see that there are still centimeters left until reaching the waist (pants). In the second one I used heat but it still shrinks to BSL and I have to stretch a strand with my hand to see the real length. I shouldn't complain because it doesn't shrink as much but it's still frustrating. My goals are to past Wl with stretched hair, wavy hair and like ultimately goal with curly hair.

I hope to gain 4cm before summer arrives. Good luck to everyone participating in the seasonal growth project!

To me, your non-heat-styled hair looks longer than in the heat-styled pic, how interesting! Also, did dye your hair darker between the two pics?

Either way it shrinks to bsl. With heat the hemline is straighter and with wavy hair the hemline keeps the u cut. I think that's why the hair may seem longer in the first photo even though they are both BSL.

I haven't changed my hair color, it must be the light, but it's true that my hair looks darker when stretched and vice versa. When I went to get clip-in extensions I wore my hair natural so the person helping me told me I needed a light brown. I had to come back with straightened hair so that she would believe me I needed a darker shade close to black.
