When I feel like I need it. I want thicker ends, so I'm taking off a quarter inch or so every six weeks. That's about as much as I'm willing to cut off myself, anyway.
I used to get salon trims every 3-4 months, but they always took too much off.

I have been trimming/cutting my hair in January and June/July for the last couple of years but I think, depending on how my ends feel, I may skip my January trim in 2025. We will see.

I voted every few months. I was getting a trim every two months trimming off layers. I'm not sure how often I will trim now, we will see!
