Yay, congrats on the LWB! Do you have any good tutorial for it? I feel like I might be able to do more buns than the disc bun considering my hair isn't thick at all.

I just used a random youtube tutorial but used my index finger to wrap the hair around, instead of my entire hand (obviously).

I complained about my awkward, flipped ends recently so here's an example from yesterday https://imgur.com/a/WzZSELB Could I just have some kind of extreme super growth spurt and have my ends straighten, please...

Checking in, I'm feeling your pain all of you who feel like it is a long road.. I have the same issue, the bottom of the pic is where arm pit length is.. It seems so close yet so far...
Usually don't feel much like posting as my hair growth is creeping on me slowly these days but just hoping I'll get there sooner than later. At this length I still can't do anything but a ponytail with my hair or a double folded pony tail, as it is too thick to try to make a true bun with it.

My hair does the same thing right now, and its just about the same length. I am looking forward to my hair being longer so it stops the flip.

Pretty hair waveurly! I know what you mean about the ponytail and the double folded ponytail. I am wearing a double folded ponytail as we speak. I am looking forward to finally having the length for a bun that stays.

Yesterday I was able to put it up in a cinnabun with spin pins but it looked kind of funny.

I remember having this problem too before i discovered my texture is actually 2a/2b rather than 1c/2a, lol (henna and other dyes ruined my true texture). Now it is just wavy all over the length and of course the ends flip in every possible direction.

I just try and keep my hair up all the time these days, not just for safety, but because i Hate my ends.

Maybe you are a dormant wavy as well?

I got my first cut in 8 months yesterday! I havent washed it yet but feels good to have fresh ends. I have so many baby hairs all over my head and especially at the front, I only really notice when the hairdresser straightened my hair.

That's my dream...! I have loved wavy and curly hair all my life and wished for a texture change when I stopped hair dyes and heat years ago. It didn't happen back then but maybe it's happening now, we'll see once my hair grows more
