I have been wanting to cut my hair to make a change but maybe I should try some different styles. I found this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SY6mswDt8m4&t=3s

I have no pictures because I’m a bum but

    HEAR YE HEAR YE!

Get thee to your local sewing shop and purchase a yard or two of double sided velvet ribbon. The double sided part is important. It holds so freaking well!! I just have black right now but I’m so excited to build up a collection of different colors. I think this is gonna be my signature look. I love braids more and more the longer my hair gets.

I will try to get my rear in gear and shoot some pictures tomorrow. You can tie a bow or wrap it. Even a half knot holds well; so great and simple if you think a bow is too frooftastic for your personal style. Anyway. Let me know how you like it if you try, braid lovers! Or if you already know and love this trick share pics of how you tie off!
I woke up like this (brushing the top of my calves somehow??)

PeonyBlue I forgot to comment, I love the Anne of Green Gables look! I always play with my braid tassles too

knobbly I'm sold! Time to look for some luxy velvet ribbon

Tried a 4 strand dutch braid for the first time yesterday, gotta work on keeping it straight but looks cool, and so comfy! Much more secure than 3 strand dutch for me. But omg it gives me such bad tangles plus my arms huuurt

    Today's French braid.

I love the simplicity of this braid! Your intricate ones are great, too, but this really shows off the length and beauty of your hair. LOVELY!
