I take them myself, using tripod and remote control.

And I am just too brain fogged to use a tripod etc; if my cheapo camera even has a timer lol

I just make do with the bathroom mirror....poor quality and lighting..... but better than nothing

My Mum has obliged on the rare occasion I've asked ber before, but I recently worked out how to get an accurate length shot kneeling down between two mirrors (one wall-mounted, one propped up opposite) and using my phone. For a full-length shot, I took a photo in the long mirror (with me standing) and having the camera at about waist/hip height to get the full length. I can't stand very far away from the mirror before bumping into the wall opposite, but that seems to work.

It might be so much simpler if I didn't feel so awkward asking anyone else!

It's always one of my boys or I do it myself when they're busy. The best pictures are the ones my boys took.
