I do once a week, overnight with castor oil/avocado oil/peppermint & lavender EO. Good scalp massage upside down, braids and bed!

Weekly twice as a pre wash.
I am using a herbal oil currently.
I usually switch between coconut/ sweet almond/ olive oils. Or mix 2 at one go.

I put a heavy coating of ojon in twice a week on wash days. It stays in 3 to 5 hours - sometimes overnight.

For the past few months I've been oiling it every week. I'm thinking of upping it to 2 or 3 times a week. Sometimes I just do it twice in the week anyway.

I oil once a day with either olive oil, which I have scented with rosemary and another bottle with lavender, jojoba oil or argan oil. I need to in the winter months as well as summertime and like to try new oils every now and again. I just concentrate on length of hair and pay special attention to my ends. Before weekly washing my hair I do a deep conditioning usually with coconut oil and every night I put a little coconut oil on ends of hair.
I forgot good ole castor oil and I also massage inverted method and use BBB before washing hair.

I do not oil my hair. I blow dry in the winter and sometimes on the weekend. Medium heat of course as low heat takes an hour. I use protection.

Concerned that the oil and heat will fry my hair. I've not had my hair long in several years and do not want to mess up my hair now that it is how I like it.

After reading I'm wondering if I need to oil ...
