Thanks! It sure is nice being able to do a more protective style than a ponytail, even though a low pony secured with a scrunchie or those super stretchy fabric hair ties (I really like those!) has served me well since hitting shoulder back in March. I like wearing my hair in accent braids, especially a mohawk French braid, or a half-up Dutch braid, and then the rest pulled into a ponytail. Lace braids are cute and easy too, again, with the rest pulled into a ponytail.

Also, welcome to those new to this thread

I can't wait to be able to use my hair forks again! I have thick hair so I have to wait for most buns but I should be able to do a Disc bun at APL.

I'm a bit nervous in case I don't communicate properly about how little I want trimmed, but judging by last time it'll be fine.

I'm thinking about getting something a bit more exciting done with the front, but I'm not sure. I have wispy bits that tend to go everywhere in the wind and end up in my face. I don't think a fringe would suit me, but I'm tempted to try just for the novelty. That said, when I did have a fringe as a kid - and knew nothing about styling - it was constantly a wavy/curly mess that looked terrible, so if I did get a fringe I'd need to wash, blow dry and straighten it daily. Not sure I want that hassle! The other option is face framing layers, but... nah. What I really want is to imagine that I had a fringe that had grown out to about chin length, and that wasn't at all blended into the rest. I might ask her and see what she says.
Good luck! Sounds like your ends are doing well, the trim should perfect it! I sincerely hope she doesn't give you a hard time when you ask her to put the toys away, lol.

I started growing out my bangs/fringe specifically because of all the heat styling. That, and I'd like my hair to be a little thicker~

I've basically reached armpit length! It seems to have took me about 6-7 months from reaching collarbone length to reaching armpit length. I don't know if that's good or bad, but in a year I should be almost underbust length which seems fine with me
    Pixie * Collarbone * Armpit * Overbust * Nipple * Bra-strap * Mid-back * Waist * Navel * Hipbone * Tailbone

Happily growing and learning patience and gentleness with my hair.
Layered hair - keeping in the layers for now.
    chin - shoulder - collarbone - APL - BSL - waist?
