Hi everyone, lovely hair and congrats to all, such beautiful hair. also congrats to those who have reached waist. I am still drumming my fingers and begging my hair to grow. I finally reached 27 inches! seemed like a lifetime for me since i felt like it was not growing, stayed for some reason at 26 inches for almost 8 months. either i was measuring wrong or my hair stalled due to work and stress? or i had some breakage i did not know about. but it finally got growing again.

Have not trimmed at all since Jan. 2009, and only gained 5 inches in 13 months. but hoping for a better 2010. I'm only 3 inches away from waist so taking extra care of my hair and keeping it braided or bunned 99% of the time. work has gotten quite stressful, might change jobs soon, got a good offer with 20% more pay and closer to home.

Will share a new length pic soon, just need a good sunny day and just washed hair. so hopefully this week I will update length pic.

so here's to growing long and fast.

DBF measured yesterday at 27.75 inches ... seems like I've grown half an inch in 2 weeks! I sure hope I can keep THAT up!

Waist on me is about 30 inches. I'm hoping and hoping and hoping.

Well, I think I've finally hit BSL. It's touching my bra strap, sometimes covering it depending on which bra and if I've washed it that day or not (it curls up a lot on wash day). Onward!

By the way, hi everyone! I'm back on LHC after a really long hiatus. I've missed it here.

But it's still going to be a while before it looks waist length when curly, so I still have to wait.

Rach, your hair looks great and I would say that is waist length now. I'm really glad I saw your picture because you can still see your body outline. This is something that has been concerning me since I decided to grow again. I'm worried I'll look like a great mass of hair pointing to my big butt!

Hopefully once the weight gets in there, it will pull it together more and my body outline will still be visible.

i'm in the bathroom - it's getting obsessive.
