This button () takes you the first new post in a thread. Is that what you are asking for?
Just an idea, not sure if it's possible here, but...
In another forum I frequent there is a button in the user CP to see replies to my posts, and each thread I have posted on which had replies after I posted showed up on the list. I could then click on another button and read only the new posts on the thread. I find it immensely helpful especially when holding 'conversations' on multiple threads.
This would save a lot of time as we'd be able to see if there was new activity on a thread at a glance instead of needing to subscribe to and check or look up manually every thread we have posted on.

You can also set it so that you automatically subscribe to all the threads in which you've posted, if that's what you mean. Click on "Edit Options" on the User CP.

Oh, I didn't know I could set it to subscribe to all threads I post on, thanks. That will do it.
I would like an option where I could see if anyone specifically replied to my posts, or quoted me to ask a question or whatnot, but I end up doing a search for my username in the posts and that works too

I'm not sure how that would work - at least here, people often don't directly reply to posts, but just generally reply to a thead, even when addressing a particular post in a thread. (For example, I'm using the quick-reply box for this, not replying to a particular post.
So if you tried to rely on looking for replies to your posts, you'd miss a lot of replies to you in conversation.
