I get my potassium from pink Himalayan salt, and sometimes still supplement it. Our nutritional guidelines for potassium (and most other things!) are ridiculously low!
Oh I see, how interesting. Yeah I feel like we're falling behind in terms of nutrition at least in the US. Not as good of education and I just can't wrap my head around why there's so few minerals in bottled water and why some companies have stopped enriching breads and cereals with certain vitamins. Oh well.

So close yet so far. I feel like I've been at the same distance from my waist for months. It's like my waist is sliding down lol
Well, I hope to reach this milestone before summer, I will trust in spring and good weather. 🌻🌞

You're really close! I love hair texture like yours, it's beautiful as is, but just think of how awesome it'll look at waist, too.

    Thanks! I need the encouragement.
I'll have to go through the midback abyss twice, with my hair straight and curly. 🥲
But that's okay, I just started to let it grow and I have to be patient. 🤭

I'm not sure what texture you're referring to because I wear my hair differently almost every day. But thank you. I like my stretched hair in all lengths but I want to let it grow to see if I fall in love with my naturally curly hair. 🤭
The longer the hair, the heavier it is, the less it curls and the easier it is to style. I trust this experiment and if it doesn't work at least I'm having fun trying out tricks and hairstyles.

I mean that I like seeing straightened hair because curlier hair types are usually a bit coarser. My own hair is pretty wispy. I used to really envy curls but I believe now that they can be a lot more maintenance, so I'll just enjoy photos of other people's hair lol 😂

Aah, I don't know if it's coarse but it makes sense considering I've always done a thousand things to my hair and I'm not bald yet.
I envy straight hair. It always look perfect even on "bad hair" days.
I don't think I've seen your hair yet. I'm looking forward to it. If you don't want to show it that's fine but I'm curious now. 👀

I really do want to show a photo of my hair, and it's one of my goals for this year, but I'm really camera shy for mental health reasons. It's unfortunate, I don't mind my face, but I struggle a lot with my body, especially when viewed from behind. And to be clear, I think all bodies are beautiful, I just dislike photos of myself. So "proper" length photos may be out of the question for now. I'd like to share a from the front photo when I reach waist, though.

It's a good goal. I have a similar one this year. I hope you achieve it, although it doesn't have to be this year. Step by step, little by little!
Before, to mark progress without having to take pictures of myself, I would take the typical silhouette of a body with the different hair lengths marked and draw my hair over it. That way I could see how it grew month by month without having to take photos. I don't know if it would work for you or if you would like to try it.

Good luck with your goal and your hair length! With how fast your hair grows, I'm sure you'll reach your waist in no time!
