I’ll be reading my conditioner bottles now, I have 3-4 different ones in my cabinet to look over I will continue to jist gently squeeze out excess water with my hands though. I get fine results that way

My hair is wavy and it's best if I scrunch the conditioner into it while it's soaked. I notice I get very good results doing that. It absorbs it better and such.

Nope. I gently squeeze the water out of my hair, then add the conditioner. All my styling products go on wet hair, too.

When I did use shampoo and conditioner, I wouldn't use a towel, but I would squeeze it thoroughly to get it as dry as possible so that the conditioner wouldn't be fighting past the water, if that makes sense. No idea if it truly made a difference though!

I dry it just a little bit. I have no proof that makes any real difference, it just feels better for me.

omg, it's a coincidence but i've started doing this a few washes ago and it seems the mask/conditioner works better that way. if i just squeeze the water out, there's always more at the top of my hair that kind of dilutes the conditioner when it drips down

No, I just squeeze out the excess water, as the others have said. If my hair is too wet, than nothing gets absorbed into it. As a very dry/frizzy haired person, I have to let the conditioner soak into my hair for at least a while for me to get any results.

Same as many here, I squeeze some of the water out and apply on wet hair. I find it easier to apply product on wet hair, and I don't need as much (I already use more than I'd like) product with wet hair. I apply leave-in conditioner on towel dry hair.

My hair doesn't hold moisture well. I put my conditioner onto wet hair, but often find I need to stick my head back under the shower again to get enough moisture to spread it through!

No just the opposite. For the conditioner on my scalp (CO-washer here) I dilute it with water. And for the lenghts Melissa recommended soaking wet hair when applying the conditioner bar and I fin that it works best that way.
