The Deep Conditioning/Treatment Check-in Thread

Today I had henna in my hair for 5 hours. It looks shiny, feels super soft, and the color is deep, vibrant auburn/red. I wish I could get some good pictures but it’s raining here today.

I am sick, so I took tomorrow off. I'm going to put in a hair mask and let it marinate till at least tomorrow night.

Did a modified SMT (added in herbal tea after I microwaved it). I think I like this a lot more- it is so much easier to rinse out and it doesn't seem to have adversely affected the treatment

Ah, this might be a good thread for me to follow. I've only ever deep conditioned a few times before. I want to be more consistent since my hair seems to take to it, and my attempts to find a leave-in conditioner has been laughable (my hair is obnoxiously low porosity).

Oh wow you can keep it that long? What's the result after such long lasting treatment?.. Must try, I guess..
