Voted "I want to look like mermaid, etc" and "love feeling my hair brushing my body" there are other reasons too but these two are on point. I also enjoy how long hair emphasizes my femininity even though I don't think I look boyish with short hair. And I am very much excited for all the hairstyles I will do once my hair is longer.

Tbf short hair just feels boring (on me), all I ever do was blowdrying it. Yeah short/medium length hair has tons of styling options too but none of it fits my style. And well, my boyfriend enjoys my long hair and he is also excited for it to grow longer, that's not a "reason" I'm growing my hair but a nice motivation

I think that very long hair is the most beautiful style on a woman and appreciate its existence in history. There's so much elegance missing from our modern world that was once a part of everyday life, extremely long hair included. No matter the toiling contained in days long gone, many of us still have a yearning for that world that was left behind, and try to incorporate elements of its natural beauty, human character, and charm into our rectangular, factory-made, and electronically powered lives wherever possible.

I think my weirdest is that I've always been interested in textiles and fiber arts (not an active hobby right now, but I used to knit, weave, and sew a bit), and hair is my own fiber!
