Hello, all! Newbie here 👋 Very excited to continue my hair journey with some like-minded folks. I just got my first trim in years and I am so glad I did! I didn't realize how severely damage traveled up my ends... I've now gone from a scraggly tailbone length to sitting just below my hip or so - it can be hard to tell because my texture is super inconsistent. Was super interesting to see just how sun-bleached my ends are compared to my roots. Will definitely be keeping up with the trims! I plan on doing a six-month check in with my stylist. I might have her trim my bangs back next time I see her (she does my lash extensions) since they're as just a terrible awkward length and I don't know how to style long curtain bangs on wavy hair...

Went on a bit of a shopping trip yesterday and am trying to embrace my fine hair! Was recommended products for coarse hair for ages due to having thick hair so the world of lightweight products is a mystery to me. Anyone have experience with using leave-in as your normal conditioner? I've seen many fine hair curly girlies do it but I'm interested in hearing some testimonials that aren't trying to sell me something! Haha
