No trimming 2024! First half only!

Looks like I wasn’t the only one…. I ended up doing a solid trim of about 3 inches from the very ends last night. Plus, I turned my overgrown face framing layers into… mini bangs! I just couldn’t wait anymore, and I figured that since I’m basically at my goal length, it’s time to start having some fun with my hair…. and I’m very pleased, although technically I failed this challenge. Oops.

Now, I'm officially out of this challenge. Have trimmed my ends, and while I didn't feel happy at first, it was needed.

Well, I made it! I started thinking about the trim about halfway through, just like last time, so I assume my trimming sweet spot would be every 3-4 months. Which is good to know, but until I get to “now it’s long enough”, imma stick to 6 months It’s cheaper this way anyway lol.

Who else is graduating this challenge?

I cut my hair a week ago, so I didnt make it. I went a full 6 months without trims tho.

I didn't quite make it, since I trimmed it back to somewhere in between APL and MBL a couple of weeks ago. Since I don't get a trim until in between six months and a year and a half, I should have no problem with the latter half of the challenge. I couldn't even get my brush through without it getting stuck, so it probably needed it, but if I would have waited the extra two weeks, perhaps I would have asked Mom to trim it instead of doing it myself, and would have lost about two and a half inches instead of four. Oh well, live and learn, as they say.

For me, it was easy to finish this one. Money has been tight, so for that reason alone I couldn't have gone in for a haircut (and with the face-framing bits I'm maintaining, I can't have my mom cut my hair), but even other than that, it just hasn't really been on my mind. Too much other stuff going on! However, I'll look into it somewhat soon.
