7 weeks of silver growout.
Yes, my salt and pepper is definitely finer than the hennaed strands...
I change my mind at least 3 times a day and cannot decide if I want to grow grey or keep doing henna.
Exhausting....

Maybe do both? Like having top layer and bottom layers henna and underneath grow out or switch it around?

I get it though I can't decide if I want to use my henna stash or to throw it out
Luckily I got a while to decide since I'm basically bald atm

I already said it many times, Bat, we are so similar when it comes to deciding about colour

I think I will do something like that. I was researching dye strip technique thoroughly and it definitely could work. I will use henna on the side part and grow salt and pepper underneath.

Sounds good to me! And with so many colors it's hard to choose. which one even though I know I'd regret it it's tempting to go back to black but a semi permanent and not permanent

Isn't it? And I have so many options with herbal dyes! Cassia for blonde, cassia with manjistha for strawberry blonde, henna for copper and brown, katam for steel gray... . And I'm not damaging my hair with those

still thinking about the time I went to a hair stylist in May and she knew my hair was delicate because 1. it's curly 2. it was bleached and dyed purple and blue. she RIPPED her brush straight through my hair and it hurt and she was ripping out chunks of my hair. she had the nerve to be like "oh you know you're losing an unusual amount of hair, did you know that?" yeah because you're ripping it out!! I'm never going to THAT hair stylist again. I just needed a little shaping to start growing out evenly, but I think I'm good to not go to a stylist for several years luckily. She also only put bonding oil in my hair and I walked out of there a smelly frizzy mess.

yikes thats awful, some hairdressers have no idea, I remember when I did my training they were always telling me I was too gentle at it and need to be more firm. but i don't like the idea of hurting someone, so I never really improved LOL

would you know what Katam does when bleached out, like does it go green like Indigo?
