my plan not to bleach failed, I did a small section of my hair, and it didn't lift as good as I hoped so it looks pretty stupid so ended up bleaching the whole lot, so much for growing without bleach z

I'm back after a very long time. This year is the 20th anniversary of my very first pixie cut. I've literally had a pixie cut since I was 16 and will be turning 36 on Sunday. As much as I LOVE the pixie cut (it suits me VERY well), I have missed my hip length hair that I had as a middle-schooler. I want to reach my hips again and preferably tailbone length. Or classic even. I've made the decision to trim until it's one length as I've tried the whole mullet thing and I had struggles both time. I'm willing to put in the extra time necessary to trim as it grows to mid neck length. Happy to be here! Hoping the next 20 years can be a new era of hair for me!

Oh wow. I have literally just popped back up here after years away. With a pixie. With the hope to grow long again!

I do have a cycle of growing to bra strap length then getting fed up and shaving an undercut or chopping short again. I’d like to break that cycle as I’m to be 50 in a couple of years and I’d love to have some hair by then… and keep it!
