Neither, since I don't think I'm very pretty, whether my hair is up or down (though I rarely wear it up, it's mostly just back in a ponytail. I haven't worn it up in years). See what years of high school bullying can do to a person? You start believing them after a while. Even if someone says I'm beautiful, I don't believe them and just think they're being nice (though not in a mean way). Mom says I should play around with my looks a little more, but I'm way too lazy to go through all that work, since it only takes me about ten minutes to get ready as opposed to about half an hour if I did all that stuff.

I don't have an awesome jawline so I feel prettier hair down. I also get more positive attention and nicer serving that way.

Would you believe me if I said I felt the same way? I think that's one of the reasons hair is so important to me, because if I style it one way I can feel very glamorous, and styled another way, I can feel like a toad. I've also learned how to take pics at my best angles, but there are many, MANY pics I delete before posting the ones I think look halfway decent.

I almost always wear it up for protection and practicality but definitely prefer it down for how it makes me feel.
